Here's a quick Q&A with John Dombek.
Hi John! How long have you been with TheLadders?
I’ve been with TheLadders for about four months.
What is your official job title and what are your responsibilities?
My job title at TheLadders is Data Analyst. Up to this point, my primary responsibilities have been providing analytic support to our Consumer and Enterprise Marketing teams.
What’s your favorite part about working at TheLadders? / Why did you join TheLadders?
My previous job was at a university, so I have really enjoyed the faster pace and more energetic atmosphere at TheLadders.
When you’re not working, you can be found…?
On the road to the shore or to go camping.
What is your favorite hangout in the neighborhood surrounding 137 Varick?
I’m still getting to know the area, but I’ve definitely enjoyed walking up and down Hudson River Park.
What’s the one tech device you couldn’t live without, and why?
My phone and headphones are a necessity for the commute.
If you could meet any musician (dead or alive), who would it be?
I’m not the biggest Stones fan, but Keith Richards’ autobiography was wild, and I think we could all use a crazy story or two.
What mobile app do you use the most?
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
The starting quarterback for my Washington Redskins.
If you didn’t work in an office, what would be your alternate-universe occupation?
I’d like to be Anthony Bourdain without the cameras or the attitude, but I guess then it’s no longer an occupation.
