What do you do at TheLadders?
I manage public relations here at TheLadders. I work with our internal team and external media to develop stories about the great things we develop and do.
How long have you worked here?
I’ve worked here for two months.
What made you decide to work at TheLadders after interviewing?
I was really excited to be a part of the evolution of TheLadders. Everyone I met was really smart and committed to doing great work and I wanted to be a part of such a dedicated team.
What’s the best thing about the company and your job so far?
There’s a great culture here. Everyone I’ve met has been so welcoming. This makes my job of getting to know the team and pinpointing all of the fascinating stories we can tell to the public really interesting. I feel like every day is different and I really enjoy that.
What’s your favorite NYC neighborhood?
I love the West Village. I feel like I’m in “old New York” when I’m there. I’m also obsessed with Astoria, where I live.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a small town in Maryland, called Sparks. It’s about 30 minutes north of Baltimore City.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a writer, and still do.
Which mobile app do you use the most?
Any.DO – it’s an amazing app for keeping to do lists. I would be so lost without it.
It’s 8 p.m. on a Tuesday. Where are you?
I’m either having dinner/drinks with friends in the city or at home catching up on my DVR.
It’s 8 p.m. on a Saturday. Where are you?
Definitely having dinner/drinks with friends.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To travel anywhere within the blink of an eye. It would be so much fun!
What’s your go-to joke?
I don’t know very many jokes, but I used to babysit and remember learning this one from the kids:
Orange you glad I'm here
