Today is only Tuesday and it already promises to be a busy week! “The Voice” made its season premiere last night, March Madness is well underway, and we are just two days away from JobMobile New York, TheLadders’ celebration of innovation and strategies in mobile recruitment. Throughout 2013, this unique, nationwide series of events will bring together recruitment thought-leaders in four major employment hubs: New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and Atlanta.

Google predicts that more than half of all job applications will come from mobile devices within the next 18 months. Now, with the explosion of job seekers turning to their mobile devices to pursue searches while on-the-go, TheLadders is urging our more than 35,000 employers to integrate mobile technology into their recruiting strategies or risk missing out on the country’s best talent.

To help share their companies’ best practices and recruitment secret recipes, my team has tapped industry thought-leaders from some of the most innovative companies, all based in New York City where TheLadders is headquartered, to serve as panelists:

Melissa Enbar
Director of Recruiting, BirchBox

Founded in 2010, Birchbox is a leading commerce platform, offering consumers a personalized way to discover and shop the best beauty and lifestyle products. Melissa is responsible for hiring talented people and creating company-wide initiatives to promote great management and clear development paths.

Karen Miller
 Vice President of People, Seamless

Founded in 1999, Seamless is an online food-ordering service that allows users to order food for delivery and takeout from restaurants through their website and mobile apps. Karen is responsible for delivering career satisfaction, which includes defining and executing Seamless’ people and HR strategies.

Karsten Vagner
Director of People, ZocDoc

Founded in 2007, ZocDoc is an online medical-care scheduling service for finding nearby doctors or dentists and instantly booking an appointment. Karsten oversees recruiting, selection, onboarding, and employee relations.

Jack Kelly
Co-Founder & Managing Director,
The Compliance Search Group

The Compliance Search Group is a leading executive-search firm specializing in recruitment and placement of professionals in compliance, legal, regulatory, risk management, Dodd-Frank, audit, corporate governance, credit, accounting, tax and finance. In addition to co-founding his company, Jack is also a member of TheLadders ELITE, the top 1 percent of recruiting professionals in our most-engaged recruiting markets.

The first JobMobile event will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2013, in New York City. For more information or to RSVP, click here. To view the full list of TheLadders ELITE honorees, click here. See you there, recruiters and hiring managers!
