What can be better than having your work done for you? Hours wasted scouring through hundreds of resumes can be saved.

You may be asking yourself, “How is this possible? I could be spending my time in a more productive fashion?”

Well, the answer is FitFinder. No, it’s not the online video chat site, nor is it the UK dating site .

FitFinder is a service, offered by, where recruiters are teamed up with trained sourcing professionals “Talent Specialists” who find the most qualified candidates for a certain position.

The FitFinder process has three steps:

  1. The Talent Specialist and recruiter have an intake call where they discuss the job in more detail. They go over location, keywords, background, basically anything the recruiter wants to see on the resumes.
  2. The Talent Specialist constructs a Boolean search string, based on what the recruiter tells them and then goes through TheLadders database finding the most qualified candidates.
  3. The last, and one of the most important steps, is setting up a feedback call. During the call, the recruiter and Talent Specialist go over each resume to see what they liked or didn’t like about each candidate. This step gives the Talent Specialist a better understanding of what the recruiter likes for future jobs.
